MEET BLOBBY
Say hello to the Blobbies
Blobby was created to help kids name their feelings and feel good about them — even the tricky ones. When we understand our emotions, we can handle them better, and feel more connected to the people we love

HAPPY
Blobby feels light and bubbly. A big smile shows up, laughter comes easily, and Blobby might want to dance, play, or snuggle.

CURIOUS
Blobby feels silly and full of ideas. Making up games, pretending, and exploring are favourite things when feeling playful.

DISGUSTED
Blobby wrinkles the nose and pulls back when something smells, tastes, or feels yucky. Saying “no thank you” is okay.

LONELY
Blobby feels quiet and left out. The body might feel slow and the heart wishes for a friend to sit close by.

SCARED
Blobby feels small and shaky. Heart beats faster, breathing might get quicker, and it feels good to stay close to safe people or places.

RELAXED
Blobby feels loose and floppy. Muscles feel soft, breathing is easy, and the mind is resting too.

LOVING
Blobby feels warm and caring. Arms might reach out for a hug, a smile shows kindness, and being close to others feels special.

PLAYFUL
Blobby feels silly and full of ideas. Making up games, pretending, and exploring are favourite things when feeling playful.

ANGRY
Blobby feels a strong, hot feeling inside. Muscles might get tight, the face looks serious or frowns, and loud voices might happen.

BORED
Blobby feels slow and restless at the same time. Nothing feels interesting, and it helps to find a new game or idea to try.

SURPRISED
Blobby’s eyes open wide and mouth makes a little “O” shape. Surprise comes quickly and makes the body feel jumpy or excited.

WORRIED
Blobby feels a twisty feeling in the tummy. Worries can make Blobby’s forehead frown and thoughts get stuck on “what if” questions.

CONFIDENT
Blobby feels strong inside. Shoulders stand tall, steps are steady, and there’s a feeling of being ready to try something new.

HOPEFUL
Blobby feels positive and ready for good things. The heart feels lighter and the face shows a soft smile.

EXCITED
Blobby’s body is full of energy. Feet might wiggle, hands might clap, and the face shows a wide, bright smile.

FRUSTRATED
When things don’t go right, Blobby feels stuck and cross. A scrunched-up face or loud sigh shows frustration building.

SAD
Blobby feels slow and heavy. The mouth turns down, tears might come, and it helps to have a quiet cuddle or kind words.

SHOCKED
Blobby stands very still when feeling shocked. Breathing might stop for a second, and the body feels stiff until things feel safe again.

CALM
Blobby feels steady and quiet. Breathing is slow, muscles are relaxed, and the face looks soft and peaceful.

PROUD
Blobby feels warm and big inside after doing something important. Smiles are wide, and it feels good to share success.

TIRED
After a long day, Blobby feels floppy and slow. Eyes blink slowly, yawns happen often, and the body wants to rest.
